Setting Up a Dartboard

First thing you need to do when setting up your dartboard is where are you going to put it? You don’t want to place it in a walkway where guests are constantly walking back and forth, no, that would not be a safe place. Place it somewhere off to the side, if you have a billiards room keep it about ten feet away from the pool table, that way if people are playing pool the people that are waiting to shoot a game of pool can comfortably shoot some darts while waiting for their next game at the pool table.

Make sure the dartboard is placed on a flat wall, you want to mount the dartboard so that the center of the bulls eye is about 5 feet 8 inches from the ground. If you want to make a line to where you will throwing the darts (which you should), the line should be about 7 feet 9 inches, make a mark so there is no question on where you should be throwing the darts from.
