Tips On Setting Up Your Dartboard

First thing you need to do when setting up your dartboard is where are you going to put it? You don't want to place it in a walkway where guests are constantly walking back and forth, no, that would not be a safe place. Place it somewhere off to the side, if you have a billiards room keep it about ten feet away from the pool table, that way if people are playing pool the people that are waiting to shoot a game of pool can comfortably shoot some darts while waiting for their next game at the pool table.

Make sure the dartboard is placed on a flat wall, you want to mount the dartboard so that the center of the bulls eye is about 5 feet 8 inches from the ground. If you want to make a line to where you will throwing the darts (which you should), the line should be about 7 feet 9 inches, make a mark so there is no question on where you should be throwing the darts from.
