Types Of Pool Cues

There are many varieties of pool cues used today, but there are two common types of pool cues that we refer to, either the single piece cue or the double piece cue. Single piece cues are most common as the "house cues" that you can use in bars or pool halls. While the two piece cues are usually, not always, but mostly of better quality. Just twist the top half of the cue from the bottom and then you will have two pieces that make for easy transportation. There are also three piece cues but they are not considered a major type, the three piece cue is divided into thirds, and you could unscrew the bottom butt if you needed to make a jump shot or you were in a room that did not have sufficient playing space.
